How it works?
Solar hot water systems operate by using the sun’s energy to heat a glycol and water mixture within a copper tube in your solar collector. The heated mixture is circulated to exchange the heat absorbed from the sun to water in a storage tank. That water may be heated to different temperatures and used throughout your home for heating or hot water purposes.

Why go solar heating?
Using the sun’s clean energy to heat your home will not only save you money, but will have a positive impact on the environment. The average solar hot water heating system cost between $200 and $300 to operate annually, while a conventional system averages around $1300 a year. These savings will lead to a shorter payback period than you may be thinking.
Tax Benefits
If you decide to invest in a solar heating system, you may pay less than what you expect. Federal and state governments, as well as your local utility companies, may offer a combination of tax incentives and rebates to cut the cost by nearly 50% or more. Whether you are a homeowner or a business owner, you are eligible for these huge benefits.
